Queries for Thee - 2/5/10

This is a new segment of our blog, called Queries for Thee. 'Tis the part of this blog where we'll ask you - the reader - different random, interesting questions, in the hope of getting more comments. *hint hint*

This weeks topic is the dearest memory you have with your best friend. I have several for each of my friends. I could not possibly choose my favorite memory of all the ones I have with Molly - especially the ones from Missouri. We've had so much fun there the last four years. Whenever we went anywhere with "Anut" Mary and Uncle Duane, Molly and I twist around in our seats so we cam look out the back window at all the hills we've already passed over - that way we can't see the hills coming up, and it's easier to loose our stomachs. We have our iPods on, and we talk about our stories, point out places that looked like the different countries in our books as we drive past, and giggle over all the story ideas swirling around in our heads. It really fun. Then when we got back to the ranch we would sit on the hammock together and talk more about our stories, and maybe write a little.

My favorite memory with Heather is definitely Christmas night, 2009. I was a selfish beast, but I was honest, begged pardon and we ended up having a really nice, sweet, long talk after it. We were up until two in the morning my time, and that was the first time I was truly, %100 honest about all my fears. We've had a lot of talks like that, and all of them are dear memories, but I that's my favorite. <3

My favorite memories, that is hard.
With my brother Ryan - siblings count as friends, right? - it would have been when we were younger but our time over Christmas beats that. We had such fun talking and laughing and playing with legos.
With my other brother Willi it would be all our nice late night talks and the time we paced up and down a sidewalk talking together.
With my dear sister Molly it would be our talk after Christmas and the times we talked before she had to go write :-D.
My cousin Rachel it was definately our shopping trips and eating ice cream together.
My cousin Chrrissa it would be making up a secret code and writing letters in it.
With my sister Sarah it was definately rowing that boat around the river!
With my cousins Tia and Daviyd it was New Years Eve and going up skiing with them.
And with my DLS it has been the times we have stayed up late talking or writing, or sitting on the roof outside her bedroom window with a notebook in hand while she listened to me moan over the fact my computer had eaten our story :-D

Favourite memories...Well, one of my favourite memories with sweet Heather is staying up insanely late [and I mean late as in, 3-5 in the morning!] chatting on the computer. That is also how I met my best friend and sister Pip.
My favourite memories with Pip...too many to count. But a really good one is when she came to visit, one night we stayed up until about three in the morning. :-D You can scold us now, Heather. Whenever my Dad said "stop talking", we DID, and we just whispered. :-P
With my brother Noah, just being with him. Most of the time. ;-)
William, one of my brothers, probably just hanging out and being the two oldest. I'm not going to list ALL my brothers, but I do enjoy spending time with them. :-)
My virtual little sisters, Taylor, Hailey, and Emma, well so far the best memory is pretending to burn marshmallow figures of the Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana over an invisible fire. [Invisible fires are way better than real ones, don't you agree?]
A very recent memory with a friend; last night my friend Kylie and I chatting on the computer for about an hour, talking about Anastasia and some other mysteries. :-D
And I think that's enough memories for now.

Love you two!

@Heather - Oh! I had forgotten about that time when we lost our story! I like sitting up there with you. :)

I also like the time when you came for Thanksgiving and we sat on my bed covered up in an afghan talking - and then we took that really, really long walk around my neighborhood. *sighs happily* That was nice... :)

My favorite memories...

With Katie, well, that is rather hard to find a single one that stands out. They are all so special. Well anything in Missouri. The sunny afternoons that we spent on the hammock in the shade of the trees -- and yes, the time when the hammock flipped on Katie. I saw a poof of skirts and there she was, laughing on the muddy ground in her big dress and all :D And there was the time when we just walked hand-in-hand down the gravel road, as the butterlies flew out across our path, resting on the small brown pebbles in the road. The time when we trudged through the pastures and I was scared of the big black bull cow staring at me. The time when we dressed up in our dress up clothes and danced in my room listening to English Country dance music. And the times when I called Katie in tears and hung up the phone with a smile, or at least dried eyes. :)

With Heather? Most definitively the times I came crying to her about my worries and fears. She was always there for me when I needed her, thank you, dear :D

With Anna, my sister? Can I name one? Perhaps the times we spent together talking when we were supposed to be sleeping, telling each other our hopes and dreams, our worries, and the funny things that happened during the day when we weren't there together.
